Simplicity
Video
Unlike
other Self Etching systems available etch patterns with Simplicity
rival phosphoric acid.
Simplicity
is one of the few adhesives available that can be used with light cured
as well as self cured materials, allowing use with direct as well as
indirect restorations.
Apex was
founded in 1998 to address the glaring need in the dental industry for
a company that was dedicated to solving the material issues of the practicing
clinician. To date, it seems most of our competitors strive to round
out product lines instead of solving the real problems faced by doctors
each day. At Apex, we have a different philosophy; we listen to the
doctor and deliver products that make clinical success the standard.
Our state
of the art development laboratory provides the perfect setting for innovation
while our modern production facility is designed for the flawless manufacture
of your products. The combination of these assets not only guarantees
the highest quality product but also guarantees the right product for
your daily needs. From testing batches to developing the next category
advancement, Apex continues to pursue and deliver solutions.
While the
company is only six years old, we have been at this for more than a
decade. Over this time weve learned the importance of listening
to each and every doctor to determine how we can better design the materials
you depend on everyday. We take these inputs and apply them not only
to new products but also, our business philosophy. For example, our
customers repeatedly requested material to be expedited. In response
to that feedback, a production / business system was created to ship
product the day you place your order. To further support our customers,
Apex does not sell through distribution; rather we pass the saving on
to you and control the service you receive.
The Apex
promise is simple: We will continue to listen to the doctor and deliver
products that make clinical success the standard.
"I finally
have a single no-sensitivity self-etching bonding agent that gives me
very thin film-thickness and that will bond enamel and dentin to any
cure-type of composite: all without sacrificing bond-strength!" - Dr.
Marshall White
Thank you for
letting me try "Simplicity." It is truly "simple" and easy to use. We
had no post-op sensitivity and I like that one bonding agent works with
any resin. A GREAT product" - Dr. Steve Skurow
"It is simple
it is easy it works! No rinse , no bad taste, no sensitivity." - Dr.
Robert Zampieri
"I have used
many adhesive bonding agents. None is as easy to use, prevents sensitivity,
and bonds as well to all materials." -Dr. Gerald
Greitzer
"I just started
using the new bonding material- Simplicity- that John Kanca developed,
and I must say, it is everything he said it would be. Very simple and
straightforward, very quick, very thin layer- no sensitivity at all.
I think I am going to really like it. Especially good for multiple units,
I think. Good Job, John" -Dr. Rick Coker, Tyler,
Texas
"In our office,
bonding to combinations of enamel, dentin, porcelain, metal, and acrylic
with light-cured and self-cured composite resins has necessitated that
we inventory multiple bonding agents. It can be difficult for the doctor
and the assistants alike to remember which bonding agents stick to what,
when you can use each one, when and how long to leave on the components,
whether to rinse or not, and other considerations. The penalty for straying
from proper protocol with some of these complex bonding agents is extreme
sensitivity, restoration failure, or creeping microleakage. Simplicity
is a welcome relief from these constraints. It is easy and fast to apply,
requires no mixing of components, and sticks to everything!! I plan
on recommending Simplicity to doctors through my newsletter and seminars
as the ONE bonding agent they need to inventory!" -Dr.
Gary A. Schoenrock, DDS Director, Midwest Dental Evaluation Group Editor,
INTERFACE newsletter, inventor of the laminar flow impression technique.
"This system
is truly what its name implies--Simplicity. I have enjoyed the
no-nonsense application, speed of the process, and not least the end
result. I am routinely coating all of my preps with this after
cord packing ( be sure to make the temp outside the mouth) and the lack
of sensitivity is ttruly remarkable. The i nterface of the composite
on posteriors is exquisite. The desensitization of entire quadrants
of perio exposed roots has never been so easy. John, you've done
it again. Incredible" -Dr. Patrick Roetzer,
of Benicia, CA, inventor of the Raptor Bur system and the NTL system.
"I've been
using Simplicity for a week and a half for direct composite restorations
and have found the most noticable difference from my previous adhesive
(S----- B---) to be the marginal integrity. There is a seamless transition
from restoration to tooth which is quite impressive. Also the steps
required are very logical and I don't miss sloshing phosphoric acid
on preps at all. Congratulations!!" Ronald J.
Boyd, DDS, Newark, New York
"Having used
Simplicity for several months, I have found it to be an exceptional
material. There is no easier, goof-proof, high strength bonding agent
on the market that I know of. Its self-etching, ZERO post-op sensitivity
formulation produces some of the strongest bonds to dentin I've tested.
In addition, Simplicity's ultra-thin light-cured adhesive layer will
not interfere with the seating of indirect restorations. In short, it's
a winner!" - Dr. Richard Erickson, Marietta, GA,
Editor, Dental Update Newsletter
"I have completed
hundreds of restorations of all types, anterior and posterior. The first
thing I noticed was absolutely no post-operative sensitivity without
having to go through all the precise and numerous precautionary steps
with total etching. The simplicity of the system was greatly appreciated
as was the convenience of being able to use it in every adhesive situation,
direct or indirect and auto or light polymerized. I highly recommend
it." -Dr. Paul E. Klein, Boynton Beach, Florida
"Got it this
week and have used it on every direct restoration that I had scheduled.
Works like a charm! No sensitivity...easy to use...but you already know
that! I'll be sure to let everyone know! Thanks again." - Dr.
Michael Maroon, co-founder, Genr8tnext
"I have limited
(3 weeks) experience using Simplicity, but I saw a dramatic case this
week which I'd like to pass on. A new patient at her initial exam complained
of extreme air/temp sensitivity on #3, which started 2 years ago ever
since another DDS placed a white filling in her tooth. Slight air on
the occlusal evoked an immediate reaction which went away after a few
seconds. In the past I did endos on such longstanding problem teeth.
Instead I suggested we first try replacing the resin using "different
new materials", and if that didn't work we could always do an endo.
I removed the previous composite, which looked fine (no pulp exposure
seen), meticulously follwed my Sim directions I have printed up: http://www.simplicityadhesive.com/instructionpage.html
I placed Kerr Point4 flowable and then Kerr Prodigy. Called Pt 2 days
later and all temp sensitivity is gone. It is extremely nice to have
materials that work so well at our disposal." - Dr.
William Longe Oconomowoc, WI
"Simplicity
is a terrific new product that is finally a great answer for self-etch
bonding of direct composite and indirect restorations. A great bond,
no sensitivity, good margins .... all without separate etch or mixing
dual cure components. This material is perfect for indirect inlays,
onlays, and crowns. Great for CEREC restorations." - Dr.
